Good product for the price. But you do get what you pay for. It's a well working griddle but with a few noticeable shortcomings. Is NOT pre-seasoned but does come with clear instructions for new comers - It's easy.Pros:It cooks well once you get a feel for the temp controls. It's relatively light weight and easy to moveSet up was easy. There is a 2-3 inch or so strip at the front that is shielded from heat so you have a nice warming area to move food that is done but needs to stay warm while other things cook. The whole front is heat shielded so you are feeling the heat standing in front of it.Bottom doesn't seem to get too hot so it should be safe to use on most surfaces. (I set it on a cheap plastic table for the first go)Cons:Burner knobs do not seem precise so dialing a temp and flame can be a bit annoying.Heat distribution seems a little spotty but that may be me still learning burner settings.Flat surface is not perfectly planed. There are slight rises and dips across the cooking surface - I only noticed this when dragging a cleaning blade to push grease, it is not visible to the eye and does not negatively impact cooking.Burners don't flow perfect but well enough. May need to clean them before use if they are too rough.Overall if you're on a budget I recommend it! Only cooked on it once - eggs, bacon, and burgers - but it worked well! This griddle works great and can hold a lot of food. We used our for tailgating and it was a hit! The only cons are that it is pretty heavy and the the clean up is messy.Tips: •Best if you have a legit griddle spatula so you can really scrape off the "crust" when you're done.•You can buy a 1lb propane adapter if you don't want to lug around the 20lb tank.•Make a mini funnel between the griddle top and the grease trap by using foil. That may there's no splatter mess.I ordered this griddle when I saw that Hurricane Ian had the potential of heading our way. I had thrown out our gas grill 2 weeks prior so I had to move quickly. Since I wasn't sure if the griddle would come in on time I ordered this griddle and a small charcoal grill at the same time. We tried both and hands down this griddle won. 2 more hurricanes are brewing and I can plan menus around this griddle. It'll do the job, but it's far from perfect. It's hotter towards the back than the front and the lowest setting is the best for cooking just about anything. The grease drain hole could line up better with the trap hole, but it catches most of the grease without making much mess. There wasn't much to assemble, so it gets 5 stars there. If you're on the fence about buying an outdoor griddle and don't want to spend too much, grab one of these for starters and see how you like it and later upgrade if you find yourself needing something a little more.We have been using this griddle for over a week now. Just got back from camping, and used it everyday. Making breakfast for 9 people was a breeze. I was able to cook bacon and pancakes at the same time. Very convenient to move and transport. When we first took it out of the box, it was very shiny. We followed the directions as instructed. We washed it and seasoned it. We did worry that we weren’t doing it correctly. We’ve seasoned dutch ovens in the past and thought it was strange to do it with this griddle. We did exactly as instructed by the manufacturer. Wiped oil on it with a paper towel and heated it until it quit smoking. Wiped it with oil and repeated several times. The black shiny layer did peel off. We worried because of other mixed reviews on this process. Glad we didn’t listen to some of the reviews because this was necessary. If we wouldn’t have done this, we would have ended up with black chunks in our food, as other reviewers complained about.I like to turn the middle burner on 1st. That way the other 2 burners will turn on when turning the propane knobs on. No need to use a lighter to light. Turn propane on at the tank, turn knob to the fire icon, and push the striker to light. Very easy to use and clean.I highly recommend this griddle to anyone looking for one. Easy to season! Easy to light! Easy to cook on! Easy to clean! Easy to move and store! Very convenient! Perfect for our family of 7 plus some! We are very happy with our purchase, and look forward to using it for many years to come!!!I am not able to screw in the little all-thread legs because of the "Paint" inside of the holes and on the all-threads themselves.Too much paint/powercoating? Please tell me the thread size and I might be able to chase and clean up.I’m going to buy a second one.We bought this to take camping with us, instead of hauling our heavy Blackstone grill with us. I love the nonstick surface, I use my metal spatula it has not scratched at all, and cleanup is a breeze. As long as the surface is leveled that the grill is sitting on, cooking is even. I love this grill more than my Blackstone.worked great when it was windy. More than enough surface area for cooking diff types of food at onceFabulous griddle for outdoor cooking. Took a while to heat up evenly with some smoke from burning oil on the griddle.Once evenly hot it cooks fantastic. Made pancakes for 13 people so effortlessly. Looking forward to using it more often.Had it on a wooden table and no concerns about heat under it.Used plastic spatula as I think the griddle surface could scratch. It exceeded my expectations. After I managed to get the dents out of the base unit due to shiping and packaging,I've cooked a breakfast consisting of bacon, hash brown and eggs on the Griddle. There are some hot spots on the Griddle, with time I can learn to manage. The hole in the Griddle did not quite line up with the hole in base unit, but I will fix this problem with my drill. Cleaning was not a bad experience, since the Griddle is removable.I'm not happy with my purchase, and will not recommend to a friend or family. The griddle advertised as ceramic coated !! No seasoning required.. well it's utter flop.. its not only false marketing .. its health hazard.. i even seasoned it with 3 rounds as I did with all my iron griddles. The coat started peeling off.. stuck to my omelets . Hashbrowns.. WTH .. why is it even allowed to be sold ??????Need my full money back.. the heating grid is pretty good. I have no complaints.. but the main thing which is the griddle is a flop..This has eliminated the need for frying pans in our travel trailer. Easy to use and clean, makes you feel like a line cook. It can be a bit heavy for some as it is not tiny, but it’s really just awkward to carry because it’s technically two pieces. That said it is not an obstacle that can’t be worked around. Found no particular hot spots, though a inch and a half strip on the side closest to the controls does not get as hot as the rest. Wind can play a factor in how the heat gets distributed, but that isn’t a big problem either. All in all I love this thing!Paint peelings and chips in my food is a big no no I bought two of these griddle because the first one I received there a burner not working and the paint started to peel after one use. Ordered a second one the same night and received the griddle #2 the day after. I cooked my dinner veggies on it and cleaned the griddle after. The day after I wanted to make breakfast on it and I discovered the paint peeled during the night… Black chips were in the food… I just ordered a Blackstone to make sure I will live longer eater food without toxic elements in it and have a tool easy to use… I also called the customer service they told me to scrape a blade the teflon paint… which is not normal for a teflon covered product. STAY AWAY and spend the extra money for a better brand like Blackstone
