Cute. It's a miniature. Can hold up to 6 eggs with their shell, with the lid on. That's for size comparison. Heats well for one plate of food, obviously for this meant to cook one serving at a time. WouldnI buy another? Maybe. Depends if I need two mini meals cooking at the same time to make one whole meal, at one time, to save time.Small and easy to clean and easy to store especially if a person like me who lives in a travel trailer needs a storage space nice enough for at least three eggs and some sausage.I love the easy of dipping things into the glue instead of using a stringy glue gun. It has a lid which I also like. I use this for making seasonal wreathsThe Teflon is starting to come off.I love this little skillet. I mostly cook for myself and didn't need large pans, this is the perfect size for so many things and I don't have to use the gas stove. It heats up fast so be careful... I don't use metal utensils so I won't scratch the surface and I'm having fun with it.I use this in my travel trailer. It is the perfect size for making meals for one person and I don't have to heat up the entire camper by using the stove. So easy to pack in a small bag. Great travel accessory when u don’t want to eat out, and carry your own food prepared by you!!This small pan is just perfect for me great size easy clean up and easy to store its also light weight. The controls are plain and easy to read a great pan for older or single folksThis frying pan is the perfect size. It's cute and convenient. BUT it is very badly made and unsafe to use.First, this is an appliance meant to be used in a kitchen...meaning lots of steel and the likelihood of water around. The plug isn't a three prong, grounded plug, which all kitchen appliances should have. And the heating element is unenclosed, it gets red hot and its exposed, and less that two inches from the surface upon which it being used. Two things happened. First, I got a shock when plugging it in. Second, there is now a burn mark on my kitchen counter.I will never buy another Maxi-matic product.I bought this 8-inch electric frying pan because of the size. I live alone, in an apartment and am looking for alternatives to using my stove - which sucks up so much power every time I turn it on. I bought this 8-inche square electric frying pay - hoping to use it for "multi-purpose" cooking. Its the perfect size for grilled cheese sandwich (two if you cut one in half), or two fried eggs and I even used it to make a generous serving of rice. However, I found the legs weren't stable so it seemed like it would tip over easily. The temperature control is basically "on" or "off' which meant I had to stand there, continuously tweaking the heat-control dial as I was cooking. I sent the frying pack. FYI, I did buy a similar unit through Amazon - which is more stable and which I've kept - but I really am searching for a good quality small electric frying pan - (with reliable temperature control and even surface heat) - for multi use cooking. If anyone knows of such a product, please post a reply to this review. Thanks!First of all, the box was damaged, so definitely this cannot be gifted to anyone. The skillet itself was damaged as well. All the plastic parts are made of the cheapest plastic you can find. I think dollar store quality would be better than this. It’s a $25 skillet but it’s not even worth 25 cents. Complete garbage and unusable. Unfortunately had to return.Ordered this as a gift for my father so he could make breakfast in the morning. The size was perfect but unfortunately after the second use the non-stick started peeling and flaking off. Unfortunately it is now in the garbage. Was really disappointed.Even though I bought this some time ago, today was the first occaision I have had to use it. I fried up a simple grilled cheese sandwich. I was very disappointed that when I flipped the sandwich, using a silicone spatula, and the non stick coating started to flake off. I know this is a lower price item, but still, the coating should not flake.
