All the components of this Larrik 10Ft 1/2" N.G. Hose w. QDD Fittings are excellent quality. The galvanized steel hose is flexible and the PVC coating thick and scuff resistant. The brass end fittings have long strain relief to make the hose more durable. I like that there is a 1/2" male QDD to 3/8" female flare fitting which connects to the size outlet present on most gas appliances. The 1/2" QDD coupler is well made with a check valve that has a good seal against gas leakage. Pressure rating for the QDD coupler is 0.5psig. Other QDD couplers have a 10psig rating and are also rated for Indoor as well as Outdoor use.All the fittings and hose are clearly marked "For Outdoor Use". None of the components should be used for permanent indoor installations.
