I bought a Vermont Castings Encore wood stove twenty years ago for our cabin in the southern Rockies of NM. After a friend staying with us added wood then would drop the griddle I could hear metal against metal I knew it was high time I replaced the seal. I jumped on Amazon and quickly found the seal I needed. It arrived on time. The instructions were clearly written. I took care not to add too much of the included cement before fitting the new seal. I trimmed off about 5".With the new seal installed I can hear and I recall how the griddle fit when the stove was new.Thank you!!
